Container Refrigeration is an established family-owned West Australian business. We require a strongly motivated and enthusiastic individual for this very rewarding role to meet the specific needs of the Industry and our Individual clients' requirements. This role is suited to a recent Graduate or Diploma level entrant with qualifications in structural or mechanical engineering disciplines. The role provides central point of conduct, accountability and responsibility for delivering Quotations and Estimations, Contracts and Tenders for product or services works opportunities either from new or existing clients. The role enables the successful candidate to be a part of a dynamic Commercial Team and deliver sales growth across a range of products which have been extensively developed to include an exclusive product range which is continually evolving.

Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Qualifications & experience

Container Refrigeration are seeking a candidate with the appropriate motivation and fit along with Graduate or Diploma level entrant qualifications in structural or mechanical engineering disciplines – or similar experience. Other considerations for the role will be:

1. Retail Sales Experience.

2. Sound customer relations skills to facilitate sales and hire services.

3. Basic or entry level quoting and estimating experience is required for this position.

4. Strong Organisational skills with good time management and attention to detail.

5. Marketing and Sales planning capability.

6. Experience with Microsoft Office including Publisher.

Tasks & responsibilities

1. To support the Commercial Officer and grow the business successfully from a leadership, innovation, and business development perspective when attending to securing works.

2. Facilitate good business relationships, customer relationships and maintain an effective client management structure responding positively to stakeholder needs when quoting and estimating as well as attending to any emergent Contracts and Tenders; Commercial's "high level Plan".

3. To assist the Commercial Officer to deliver the requirements of Container Refrigeration's Strategic, Marketing and Sales Plans; principally organising 'hires' and 'sales' as set out within the Sales Plan.

4. To assist the Commercial Officer to deliver the requirements of Container Refrigeration's Strategic, Marketing and Sales Plans; principally organising 'container sales' and 'spare parts sales' as set out within the Sales Plan.

5. Supervise Quoting and Estimating as preparation of Tenders, following the entire tender or panel process from inception to award, concluding with either a contract outcome or a clear understanding of why it did not eventuate.

6. Ensure appropriate standards of probity and due diligence are maintained as well as application of prudent commercial principles to bidding processes.

7. Facilitate all quality requirements of Container Refrigeration as they relate to commercial processes, systems and activities; particularly 'controlled documents' that are appended to commercial and contractual instruments.
