Junior Estimator (Plumbing) — Perth Metro (Office-based)

West Leederville Plumbing (WLP) is a NOR-based commercial plumbing contractor with projects across the Perth Metro area. We’re looking for a Junior Estimator to support our pre-contracts and project teams. If you’ve got plumbing/site experience and you’re confident on a computer, we’ll teach you the rest.

The role

Assist with take-offs, quantity counts and basic cost builds for commercial plumbing packages

Read drawings/specs; identify scope, inclusions/exclusions, and RFIs

Prepare supplier/subbie quote requests and compile comparisons

Help assemble tender submissions and documentation

Maintain estimating databases, price files and notes for handover to operations

General office support: filing plans, updating registers, data entry

You’ll bring

Plumbing background (trade experience or strong site exposure)

PC literate: comfortable with Excel/Sheets, email, file management

Confident reading plans and picking up scope quickly

Strong attention to detail, numbers, and time management

Professional communication with suppliers, builders and the internal team

Nice to have (bonus, not essential)

Any exposure to estimating or take-offs (even informal)

Familiarity with tools like Excel, Bluebeam/PlanSwift/CostX, Simpro/Procore (or similar)

Basic understanding of AHD levels and services coordination
