Full-Time Cook – Japanese Cuisine

Location: Motto Motto Japanese Kitchen Robina, Robina Town Centre Promenade, Robina QLD

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $76,500 – $80,000 per annum + superannuation (negotiable based on experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified cook with a passion for Japanese cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1–2 years' relevant experience.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparing and cooking a wide range of menu items to the highest standards

· Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

· Ensuring all food safety and hygiene protocols are followed

· Collaborating with the team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones

· Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies

· Providing excellent customer service and meeting the needs of our patrons

Requirements:

Commercial cookery qualification desirable

Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role within a Japanese kitchen.

Experience in sushi, sashimi, and Japanese culinary knowledge is highly regarded.

Demonstrate competent ability to lead a section of the kitchen independently.

Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

Retain professional presentation and high standards of hygiene.

Flexibility to work across day and night shifts, including weekends.

Working rights in Australia.
