HVAC DIRECT is a leading Australian company in the refrigeration industry, and we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Ecommerce person to assist with online business and driving our digital sales and marketing strategies. Additionally assist sales enquiries and administrative tasks. This FT role has a starting salary of $65,000 - $75,000 with bonus and performance opportunities.

We're a 60 year old family-run business in the refrigeration and vacuum industry, based in Rowville, Victoria. With substantial growth in the online sector, we're looking for a new recruit to help drive our online initiatives, to increase sales, optimise our storefront, manage and improve SEO, distribute EDM's and create a marketing calendar to grow our overall eCommerce business.

Core Responsibilities

E-Commerce Support: Assist with design and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and enhance customer engagement, in alignment with HVAC DIRECT's business goals.

Website Support: Assist with the operation of our e-commerce site, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.

Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, display advertising) to drive traffic and conversions.

Sales and Revenue Targets: Set ambitious sales and revenue targets, and develop plans to achieve these through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Analytics and Reporting: Utilise analytics tools to track website performance and customer behaviour, generating insights to inform strategic decisions and improve sales outcomes.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including any external SEO and Google Shop marketing agencies, to ensure a cohesive brand message and customer experience.

Sales & Marketing Support: Handle inbound enquires, assist customers in order to convert to sales, input orders on ERP system and assist with appropriative administrative tasks.

What does success look like?

At the end of the first year, success would mean an improved conversion rate across our storefront, increased customer LTV, improved acquisition costs across key marketing channels, accurate maintenance of inventory, and meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets.

Preferred Background & Qualifications

Demonstrable experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms

Experience in online marketing across Google and Facebook Ads

Experience in developing email marketing strategies

High attention to detail and organisational skills
*Background or interest in refrigeration products is encouraged but not essential

Comfortable supporting sales and data management.

Minimum 3-5 years of ecommerce experience required.

Salary: $65 - $75k FT
