About the Role
Due to continued rapid growth they are currently looking for a dynamic Sales Support Engineer to join their team
As the Sales Support Engineer, you will support the growth of the business by working closely with both the sales and engineering teams in understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, budgeted quotes in effectively delivering the value and proficiency in their products and services.
Your role will be pivotal in effectively supporting and delivering on all technical information and features on each customers’ project and unique requirements from concept through to completion.

Core Responsibilities
Working closely with both the sales and engineering teams in understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions in the delivery of each project.
Prepare detailed proposals and quotations to budget, tailoring the offerings to meet each customer's unique requirements
Design and engineer layouts and concepts in both 2D and 3D
Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations in 3D Demo simulation to showcase the value of our systems and solutions.
Understand the product/service’s technical features, functionalities and benefits.
Liaise with the sales and engineering teams to address technical concerns on requirements and following project, job requirement and installation through to completion
Working closely with the engineering team through each step of the project
Support the internal sales teams with follow up visits to further advance technical requirements and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
Provide post-sales support to customers, including technical troubleshooting and customer training, ensuring their satisfaction with the product or service.
Give active feedback and insights from the market to the product development, sales and engineering teams.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor offerings.
Skills and Qualifications
Proficient in either AutoCAD 2D & 3D, SolidWorks and also Inventor experience would be desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
2+ years of experience as a sales support engineer or in a similar internal technical sales support role in either conveyor systems, automation or packaging machinery organisations or OEMs in intralogistics and warehousing automation.
Strong materials handling background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrable experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and troubleshooting customer queries.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
