About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts/Administration professional to join our growing team at Henderson's Construction Pty Ltd in North Sydney, NSW. This is a casual role leading to a full-time role for the successful candidate, where you will be responsible for providing key financial and administrative support to our operations.

What you'll be doing

Handling all general accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment processing and reconciliation

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are appropriately documented

Providing administrative support to the wider team, including scheduling, data entry and general office duties

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, budgets and other analytical tasks

Handling Payroll tasks for employees

What we're looking for

At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounts/administration role, ideally within the construction industry

Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with financial data and systems

Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to work accurately under pressure

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders

Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business systems, Xero proficiency is desirable.

Experience with MYOB or Xero accounting software is required for this position.

A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
