Head of Department - Property Management - South Yarra

AMAZING opportunity for an experienced and passionate property management leader.

We are seeking a Head of Department to drive the success of their rental division. In this hands-on leadership role, the successful candidate will oversee a rapidly growing portfolio, while mentoring a high-performing team, optimizing operations, and delivering exceptional client service.

This is a maternity leave cover contract, with possibilities of long term employment or Head of Department opportunities within the office and brand network

JOB DUTIES:

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of 8 consisting of property managers and leasing consultants
• Overseeing property management of the rental portfolio
• Developing and implementing strategies to expand and enhance the growing portfolio
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Implementing innovative technology solutions to improve efficiency

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A passion for property management and delivering exceptional service
• Proven experience in a senior property management or department head role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
• In-depth knowledge of Victorian rental legislation and compliance
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
• A proactive approach to business development and growth strategies
• Experience with property management software (e.g., PropertyMe, Inspect Real Estate)
• Willingness to work weekends when required
