My client is a well-established financial services organisation with a strong presence in Australia and operations across the globe. Known for its commitment to supporting individuals, families, and businesses through innovative and reliable financial solutions, the company places a strong emphasis on customer focus, sustainability, and digital transformation.

The organisation is currently undertaking a multi-year finance transformation program, streamlining finance processes and implementing new technologies. A key component is the roll out of a new global ERP.

The role:

Reporting to the Program Manager and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholder groups, you will support the ERP Tribe, providing finance knowledge and expertise to support project delivery and ensure the successful implementation of the Finance Architecture.

Specifically you will:

• Contribute finance knowledge and expertise on end-to-end finance processes and data flows to GL
• Work collaboratively with Tribe Leads, project team members and finance SMEs to deliver project scope and optimal outcomes
• Assist project team members in understanding finance processes and impacts of embedding the Finance Architecture
• Identify gaps in the ERP configuration and develop solutions to mitigate impacts on finance processes
• Assist in UAT testing and documentation development
• Represent Finance on Project Working Groups
• Manage risk within the Tribe
• Manage a small, high-performing team

Ideal Skills & Experience:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to work collaboratively and establish strong working relationships
• Proven ability to lead and influence
• Strong BAU finance experience - ideally within financial control/reporting but could also be FP&A/management reporting
• Project delivery or change management experience eg GL/ERP implementation or broader Finance Transformation experience
• Hands-on GL experience and a strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and GL data flows
• Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
