Description

• Provide functional expertise for SAP Finance modules, ensuring solutions align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document system enhancements or process improvements.
• Contribute to configuration of the SAP Finance (FI) solution to enable efficient financial operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance solutions.
• Conduct system testing and support end-users during user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP Finance modules.
• Keep current with SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations and evolving regulatory requirements to recommend enhancements that optimise business performance
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for functional specifications and workflows.
• Support the integration of SAP Finance with other business systems.

Profile

A successful Finance SAP Functional Consultant should have:

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance modules and related processes
• Expertise in SAP FI module configuration and support, with solid understanding of core financial processes and integration points.
• Experience in delivering finance transformation projects or SAP S/4HANA migrations
• Experience and expertise with S/4HANA solution (Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Assets, Budgeting and Forecasting, Reporting).
• Proven experience in SAP configuration, implementation, or support roles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Previous experience working in or with the public sector (desirable).
• Relevant qualifications in SAP.
