Edutemps is parterning with a leading RTO to recruit a Business Development Manager to grow funded training enrolments through NSW Smart & Skilled programs and employer partnerships. This role is squarely focused on EFQ, Traineeships and TPPQ with a strong emphasis on Individual Support and Disability qualifications – two of the most in-demand training areas nationwide.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for identifying and engaging employers, building strong pipelines of traineeship commencements, and ensuring eligibility and compliance across funded programs. With clear targets for commencements and revenue, this is a role for a commercially minded professional who knows how to navigate the VET funding landscape and close opportunities.

You’ll work with supportive leadership, a marketing team generating quality leads, and modern CRM tools (HubSpot) to track pipeline and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Drive commencements in Cert III Individual Support, Cert IV Disability, and related traineeships

Secure Smart & Skilled EFQ and TPPQ enrolments through employer outreach and partnerships

Convert opportunities into commencements while ensuring 100% compliance and eligibility

Build long-term employer relationships for repeat intakes and sustainable growth

Report on activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools

About You

Proven experience in business development or enrolments in the VET sector

Strong track record selling funded training programs – ideally Smart & Skilled EFQ, Traineeships, and TPPQ

Confident, consultative sales style with ability to influence employer decisions

Solid understanding of eligibility, compliance and contract requirements in funded training

Highly organised, self-motivated, and goal-driven

Brisbane or Sydney based, with flexibility to travel for employer meetings
