This time, we’re partnering with a leading Australian agribusiness entering a new chapter of growth. They’re looking for an Account Manager (Customer Success focus) to own and grow key domestic manufacturing customers across Australia.

This role is all about customer success + Retention — building trusted relationships, tightening forecasting and S&OP with operations, and finding smart ways to grow within existing accounts and new channels (food service, aged care, manufacturing).

Your next company & team
This business supplies oat and cereal ingredients into Australia’s food manufacturing ecosystem and is proud, honest, proactive, and accountable. They value people who do what they say, communicate early, and back their word.

You’ll sit within the Sales & Marketing division, partnering tightly with operations, supply, logistics, and production to keep customers humming. You’ll report to the GM Sales and act as the first escalation point for domestic customers, with visibility across pricing, tenders, and delivery performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a domestic customer portfolio: retention first, smart expansion second
  • Engage proactively with key customers; manage escalations and keep stakeholders looped in
  • Coordinate pricing at review periods within agreed parameters; support tender submissions
  • Keep systems sharp: Pronto/ERP, CRM, price lists, production plans; ensure EOM reporting is on time
  • Spot opportunities in adjacent channels (e.g., food service, aged care) and new applications for oats
  • Lift the customer experience: documentation, quality follow-ups, and timely close-out of issues

Must-Haves

  • Strong experience in customer service & administrative management or account management
  • Demonstrated leadership in prior roles
  • Proficient with Excel and familiar with ERP/CRM environments (Pronto experience a plus)
  • Strong organiser with clear written and verbal communication
  • Excellent verbal & written communications

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in ingredients / B2B supply into manufacturers
  • Exposure to S&OP and month-end reporting rhythms
  • Experience supporting tenders and new product launches with customers
