About the Role:

Slimline is expanding our national field sales team – and with that growth comes an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our passionate and high-performing team.

We’re looking for someone with a "can-do" attitude, demonstrated selling skills, and a proven track record in delivering sales results across the NSW territory.

Competitive salary plus Car allowance plus Incentives.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will:

· Achieve and exceed annual sales targets

· Identify and maximize new business opportunities across NSW (both metro and regional areas)

· Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key customers

· Play a pivotal role in driving our continued national growth

Key responsibilities for this role:

· Proactively identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and strategic outreach across NSW

· Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

· Minimum 40+ quality outbound calls per week and acquire minimum 15 new trading accounts per quarter

· Manage key accounts through consistent follow-up, account reviews, and relationship building

· Conduct 10+ key account reviews or client meetings per month

· Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up on customer enquiries within 3 business days

· Represent Slimline Warehouse at trade displays and industry events

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding

· Participate in weekend trade shows and industry events as needed

The successful candidate will have:

Essential:

· Proven track record in B2B sales with demonstrated selling skills and passion for sales

· Strong communication and presentation abilities

· Exceptional planning, time management and organisational skills

· Ability to work independently in a field-based role

· Experience using CRM platforms (HubSpot highly regarded)

· Current NSW driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the state

· Ability to achieve conversion rate of qualified leads to closed deals ≥ 25%

Highly Regarded:

· Experience in display solutions, signage, POS products, or retail fit-out

· Established network within NSW business communities

· Knowledge of retail, hospitality, or commercial business channels
