The Senior Accounts Officer will play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting the financial operations of 14 property trusts. You'll work closely with Property Managers and other internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance.

Our client is a well established and growing property and funds management group with a diverse portfolio of property trusts. They offer a supportive environment focused on delivering high quality results for their clients.

Description

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency
  • Daily bank reconciliations and receipting across multiple entities
  • Processing and payment of creditor invoices (high AP volume)
  • Monthly rent invoicing and recovery of outgoings
  • End-of-month reporting including credit card reconciliations
  • Handling related party transactions and audit preparation
  • Responding to finance and property management queries
  • Maintaining data integrity in Yardi Voyager and MYOB systems
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and systems

Profile

A successful Senior Accounts Officer should have:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in property or real estate accounting (preferred)
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager (preferred)
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Organised and systematic approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
