We are seeking a motivated Accounts Officer to join a growing business in a newly created role. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, supporting both the Bookkeeper and CFO.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Banking & Reconciliations
• Reporting & Compliance: Support BAS, payroll, and superannuation processing
• Assist with end-of-month and year-end reporting
• Systems & Process Improvement: Maintain accuracy in accounting software
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency

Skills & Attributes
Solid knowledge of AP/AR and general accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure. Proactive communicator with problem-solving mindset. Proficient in MYOB (or similar) and MS Excel. Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Accounting (preferred). 1 year experience in a similar accounts role ideal but not necessary. Experience in AP, AR, and reconciliations.
