Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer looking for an exciting role managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable? Frestine Dairy Australia, a fast-growing leader in high-quality dairy products, is seeking a proactive professional to support our accounting and finance team and ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP)

Receive, verify, and process supplier bills in a timely manner

Prepare payment requests and monitor payment schedules to ensure timely settlement

Maintain accurate records of outstanding payables

Liaise with suppliers to resolve billing discrepancies

Month end reporting

Accounts Receivable (AR)

· Generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner

· Monitor outstanding balances and actively follow up on overdue payments

· Record incoming payments and reconcile them in Xero

· Perform daily bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records

· Conduct credit assessments for new customers during onboarding

· Manage customer onboarding documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance

· Assess credit risk for new and existing accounts and escalate concerns as needed

· Contribute to cash flow forecasting based on receivables and credit exposure

Other accounts responsibilities

Daily cash flow

Assist in the development and application of credit and risk management policies

Xero

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an AP/AR role with exposure to credit risk or cash flow management

Proficiency in Xero is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and a well-organised

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment

Experience in the dairy sector is beneficial, but not essential

Must hold a valid visa with work rights in Australia

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow alongside the business
