About the Role:
As a Function Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of weddings and events from setup to pack down. You’ll work closely with clients, kitchen teams, and service staff to ensure every detail runs perfectly: from timing and presentation to guest experience.

You’ll work closely with passionate professionals, from chefs to event planners, ensuring every detail runs seamlessly. To succeed, you’ll hold RSA and First Aid certificates and be willing to obtain your Food Safety Supervisor certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage event operations on the day, including setup, service, and pack down

Lead, motivate, and support floor and bar teams to deliver exceptional service

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution

Oversee bump-in/bump-out logistics and event timelines

Maintain compliance with RSA and OH&S standards

Manage staff and ensure brand presentation at all times

About You:

Experience as a Function or Event Manager, ideally in weddings or high-end catering

Strong leadership and communication skills

Passion for delivering premium guest experiences

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

Availability to work weekends and evenings (as required for events)
