CCWOK Pty Ltd is a dine-in restaurant in North Melbourne specialising in authentic

Malaysian and broader South-East Asian cuisine. We are seeking an experienced Chef to

join our team on a full-time basis.

Key requirements

 Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef in a restaurant environment.

 Strong wok skills and capability across Malaysian, Chinese, and South-East Asian

dishes.

 Proven experience in kitchen operations, including rostering, stock control,

budgeting, cost control, and catering.

 Ability to lead and supervise junior staff to maintain quality and consistency.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Language skills in Cantonese or Mandarin will be viewed favourably but are not

essential.

About the role

As a Chef at CCWOK, you will:

 Collaborate with the owner and Head Chef to deliver a varied, authentic menu for

dine-in service.

 Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and food quality, and step up when the Head

Chef is unavailable.

 Contribute to menu development, ordering, inventory management, and compliance

with food safety standards.

 Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on

guest experience.
