About the role

We are looking for an experienced Chef / Cook to join our team at Pizzateca Lupa', an authentic Italian pizzeria located in the heart of South Melbourne, VIC. As a full-time Chef / Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious Italian dishes to delight our customers. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes , pasta, and other authentic Italian specialties

Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items

Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive team culture

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef / Cook, preferably in an Italian or Mediterranean restaurant

Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Passion for food and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience

Food handling and safety certification
