We are looking for an Experienced Cook, Chef de Partie or Sous chef to join our team.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
We are seeking a responsible, efficient & reliable leader with the purpose of running the day to operations of the kitchen. This includes:
Food Preparation and Cooking, Supervision of staff, ensuring they follow proper cooking techniques and hygiene standards.
Handling inventory and stock management, including ordering supplies and ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and stored correctly.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Food Handler's License is required for this role.
Coordinate kitchen activities and ensure smooth operations during service.
Culinary Experience: Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Cook or Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities to effectively supervise and train junior staff.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
Mexican cuisine experience beneficial but not compulsory for this position
