About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team at LIBRA CARE SERVICES in Mernda, VIC. This full-time role will oversee all human resources functions, workforce planning, and compliance to support the delivery of high-quality aged and disability support services. A key part of the role will include managing staff rostering to ensure client needs are met efficiently.

What you’ll be doing

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and terminations

Lead workforce planning, including staff rostering and scheduling, to ensure effective service delivery

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, industrial awards, and internal policies

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support organisational growth and positive workplace culture

Provide guidance and support to managers on HR and employee relations matters

Maintain accurate records for HR and workforce activities

Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and address workforce planning needs

What we’re looking for

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HR management role, ideally within aged care or disability support

Strong understanding of rostering and workforce planning, with knowledge of award conditions and compliance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels

Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis to support decision-making

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Resilient and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills

A genuine passion for supporting care staff and contributing to positive client outcomes
