Lindsay Park's HR Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering all aspects of human resources across the entire Lindsay Park Racing operation. This dynamic role will oversee recruitment, staff welfare, training and development, workplace safety/OH&S, performance management, and compliance with employment and racing industry regulations. The HR Manager will play a critical role in supporting our team culture, ensuring staff engagement, and managing the challenges of a multi-site, diverse workforce. The role can be located at our main operation in Creightons Creek near Euroa, or Melbourne-based provided at least two days a week can be spent on site.
Candidates must have:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of the horse racing industry.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR management, preferably in industries with diverse, hands-on workforces (agriculture, racing, hospitality, logistics).
Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act, awards, and workplace relations.
Demonstrated experience in OHS/WHS compliance and risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across a culturally diverse workforce.
Organised, proactive, and solution-focused, with the ability to work independently.
