The Role

In the newly created position of Human Resources Manager, you will be the sole HR resource for the business. You'll work closely with leadership to develop and maintain a robust HR infrastructure that supports the business objectives and fosters a positive workplace culture.

Wandin Valley Farm’s Human Recourses Manager role supports the business through advanced administrative, coordination, and reporting functions.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

Must be a team player and bought into a collaborative culture across all sites.

Previous experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within agriculture and/or seasonal workforce industries.

Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Horticulture Award, Clerks Award, and National Employment Standards.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across sites.

High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Strong administrative and organisational skills.

Proficiency with MS Office and HR/payroll systems.

Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience working with seasonal or migrant workforces.

Understanding of WHS responsibilities and practices.

Working Conditions

Approx. 2 days per week outside of harvest (Feb-Sep), 5 days per week during harvest (Oct-Jan)

Travel between multiple sites may be required.

Exposure to fast-paced and changing environments, particularly during harvest and packing seasons.
