Benowa Family Medical Centre is a small boutique General Practice comprising of 2 friendly & busy female GPs. Our current friendly reception staff have been with us for over 10 Years.

We are seeking a preferably experienced Medical Receptionist initially for 15-20 hours per week and the hours will increase to cover the staff vacations.

About the role:

Greeting patients and assisting them in a caring and professional manner

managing & booking patient appointments and phone enquires

Document Scanning and Data entry skills

Patient billing, payments and Medicare claims

General Reception and office duties

What we are looking for:

Medical receptionist experience preferred

Knowledge of medical software (Best Practice) or other medical practice management software highly desirable

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Proficiency in multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills

Attention to detail, reliability and good computer skills

Age no bar and welcome senior experienced staff
