The Opportunity

Our client is a leading listed healthcare business who have recorded impressive growth over the past 10 years. They are recognised as having a supportive company culture which enables strong tenure and long-term development within the business. This is the perfect opportunity for a part-qualified CA or CPA with 1-2 years of experience in the Big 4/Mid-Tier to join a growing, profitable ASX business. You may also have 1-2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant at another large ASX or large privately owned company.

The Challenge

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to timely and precise month-end closings.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting by posting month-end journals.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support audit processes with external auditors.
• Handle reporting duties to meet deadlines effectively.
• Manage cash flow by reconciling multiple bank accounts.
• Intercompany transactions and invoicing.
• Review and process supplier invoices efficiently.
• Learn IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Engage in diverse ad hoc projects and tasks.

The Expertise

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in accounting
• You may be working towards your CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent.
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
• Organised with the ability to prioritise, identify processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal
