The Role
We’re looking for an Account Manager based in Melbourne to join our national sales team. You’ll work closely with existing partners and resellers, strengthen those relationships, and help bring new logos into the fold.
This role is ideal for someone with early sales experience in retail telecommunications, telco, or tech—someone who enjoys talking to people, understanding their needs, and connecting them with the right solution.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values initiative, dillignce, and curiosity. We’ll back you with training, clear targets, and the opportunity to grow into a more senior commercial or channel-management role.
Some travel will be required, especially in the early weeks and months, with some secondment to Sydney for training and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with existing Nexthop partners and resellers
Identify new business opportunities and support the acquisition of new customers
Assist partners with quoting, service delivery coordination, and ongoing account care
Maintain accurate records in our CRM and support reporting on account activity
Liaise with internal teams (network operations, provisioning, and support) to ensure partner satisfaction
Represent Nexthop’s brand and service ethos in all customer interactions
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years’ experience in a sales or customer-facing role (tech based inside sales, or telco experience highly regarded)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Genuine interest in technology and connectivity
Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Motivated, dependable, and comfortable picking up the phone
