Work Location: Bairnsdale, VIC (remote arrangements considered) | Full-Time | Salary Range: $80,000–$90,000 per annum

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Management Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity across the business. From journal entries and reconciliations to month-end reporting and fuel rebate calculations, your work will directly support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

Process daily bank transactions and perform reconciliations

Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing and collections

Monitor fuel usage and calculate monthly rebates

Maintain and update accounting systems and customer pricing

Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation

Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Support asset register maintenance and accounts payable during peak periods

Contribute to statutory reporting and ad hoc financial analysis

What You Bring

Formal accounting qualification or currently studying toward one

3+ years’ experience in a commercial accounting environment

Strong grasp of accounting principles

Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience a plus

Familiarity with ERP systems (Viewpoint Vista highly regarded)

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues
