About Us:
We are a family run, private practice in the Allied Health industry. We have 5 clinics across Sydney and provide Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and other allied health services to children and adults. We are registered as an NDIS providers.
Purpose:
We are looking for a brilliant, experienced receptionist to join our largest clinic at Casula to support our busy therapists. We require our receptionist to demonstrate strong communication skills, have a passion for organisation and problem solving, as well as the ability to establish rapport with professionals, families, and team members. Experience working in allied health or medical clinics
As the first point of contact with our clinics, the successful applicant needs to be personable, confident, compassionate, and well-presented. As part of the role, you will communicate and report to our strong administration and accounts team who work across alternate locations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Office/administration management for the Casula clinic
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors at the front desk of our head office practice
- Handling incoming calls and email enquiries from our clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Liaising with caregivers and allied health professionals regarding enquiries, appointments, and accounts
- Reporting to our bookings manager regarding new client referrals and enquiries
- Reporting to our accounts manager regarding client accounts and payments
- Ensuring the smooth running of all appointments, including assisting practitioners to keep on schedule
- Taking payments from clients and providing receipts
- Reconciling clinic banking
- Ensuring reception and waiting areas are kept clean and tidy
- General office upkeep such as filing and organisation of clinic
- Ordering stationery and office supplies for our multiple clinics across Sydney
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in allied health or medical reception roles
- Excellent communication skills, phone manner and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and organisational skills
- An ability to establish rapport with children, families and team members
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to the team
- Ability to prioritise customer satisfaction, going above and beyond to achieve this
- Strong organising and time management skills
- Initiative and the ability to learn quickly
- A can-do attitude, strong work ethic and keen eye for detail
- Assist in the implementation of business systems ensuring continuous
improvement
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with booking platforms (experience with Nookal bookings platform highly desirable but not essential)
- Experience with Eftpos transactions and processing health fund claims through HICAPS
- Excellent Microsoft Office, Gmail and Google Drive skills
