We are seeking an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to join our specialised rehabilitation medicine practice starting in the new year. This is a rewarding role for someone who thrives on organisation, efficiency, and excellent patient care.

About the Role

As our Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth, day-to-day operations of the practice, including:

Managing consulting sessions, patient and medico legal appointments

Coordinating medication orders and hospital bookings

Completing some end-of-month reporting

Liaising with TAC & WC for payments and approvals.

Overseeing the administrative flow to ensure a high standard of service

About You

You will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You should be:

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experienced in medical administration (experience with Medical Director – Helix is an advantage but not essential)

Knowledge of Medicare billing processes and healthcare payment systems (TAC, WorkCover, private health funds)

A clear communicator with excellent time management skills

Understanding of medical terminology, particularly in rehabilitation and injury management

Able to work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team

Minimum 2-3 years of practice management or medical administration experience

Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
