We are seeking a highly motivated proactive Registered Nurse to join our family-owned practice in Doncaster East.

Permanent part-time position- 3 days per week.

Daytime work only and no weekends.

Essential Requirements

Current Registration with AHPRA

Current CPR Certificate

Experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience in GP nursing who can demonstrate an understanding of the needs of general practice.

Experience in chronic disease management and care planning

Excellent time management skills

Good communication and organisational skills

Current professional indemnity insurance

Desirable Qualifications

Familiar with Best Practice clinical software

Nurse Immuniser Certificate

Duties include (but not limited to)

Patient triaging

Wound care / dressings

Immunisations

Care Plans and Health Assessments

Assisting doctors with minor procedures

Coordinating the patient recall and reminder system

Operate FotoFinder Mole Mapping equipment (training will be provided)

Implementing practice infection control

Cold chain/ Vaccine management

Managing and ordering of stock items
