We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services, and apartment living. We are innovative and forward-thinking in delivering community services, committed to high-quality healthcare and offering a wide range of medical services to our community.

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate, friendly, and organised superstar to join our frontline team within the Medical Centre. You will work closely with clinical staff, reception staff, and the practice manager. This role is permanent full-time, and requires someone with empathy, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask.

Key Duties:

  • Meet and greet patients
  • Manage phone enquiries and schedule appointments
  • Maintain a clean, presentable, and well-stocked reception, waiting room, and consult rooms
  • Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently
  • Liaise with team members and external providers for patient care
  • General administration duties: scanning, emailing, mail, banking, etc.
  • Collection and entry of patient details into the system
  • Participate in quality improvement activities
  • Schedule monthly medication chart bookings for aged care residents
  • Undertake training for professional development
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Support the team to ensure smooth practice operations
  • Report to the Practice Manager

Essential Criteria

  • Medical or Dental reception experience preferred but not essential
  • Must provide a current driver’s licence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Best Practice Software preferred, not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check

Desirable

  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Certificate III in Business Administration or Certificate IV in Business
