We're looking for a detail focused individual to join our busy team as a Warranty Clerk. As a multi franchise dealership our brands include Nissan & Renault in Bunbury and Nissan, Ford, Hyundai & Mitsubishi at Narrogin. Primarily the role covers Warranty for the Narrogin site but may require you to help the Bunbury team. This role can be a remote/work from home or from either of our sites.
The person we seek must be reliable, self-motivated, having a good eye for detail. This role is part-time, with a minimum of 15 hours per week, fast paced. Your day will include problem solving, thinking on your feet, and developing relationships with other staff members & manufacturers.
Our dealerships are open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, some of the work needs be completed during this time, otherwise working hours are very flexible, suiting an energetic individual who enjoys keeping busy with excellent attention to detail.
Candidates must be available to work some hours during business hours (Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm) as required.
About you:
Previous experience as a warranty clerk or service advisor within the automotive industry (not essential but highly recommended)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You will thrive in a busy, high-volume environment
Have Effective time management and organisation skills
Sound computer experience with the ability to learn new systems
Must have a can-do approach where no task is too hard
Work well under pressure
Be able to Communicate effectively with fellow staff and work in a team
Knowledge of motor mechanics is advantageous
Must have Australian work rights
About the role:
Responsible for organizing, processing and reviewing warranty claims for all 5 manufacturers
Verifying and ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements
Scheduling customer service orders, utilizing company software and achieving challenging time restraints
Carry out internal warranty audits
Co-ordination of manufacturer warranty parts return, with the help of the on-site team
Collating and translating vehicle symptoms to repair orders that can be clearly understood and diagnosed by technical staff
