Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in your community? We're seeking a creative and proactive Programs Duty Manager to lead the design and delivery of engaging programs that respond to local needs. The Leisure Duty Manager – Programs is responsible for coordinating activities associated with the City of Karratha’s Leisureplex (KLP) programs (sporting, aquatic and holiday).
This position acts as the first point of contact at the KLP, responding appropriately by providing information and direction to the general public, receiving all cash, preparation and processing all receipts.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement imaginative programs and services tailored to identified community needs
- Build and maintain partnerships to support program delivery, especially for targeted demographics
- Coordinate marketing and promotion efforts in collaboration with the Health and Programs Supervisor
- Prepare and maintain clear, informative materials for centre clientele
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard
- Support program delivery as needed, ensuring smooth and effective operation
What You’ll Bring:
- Formal qualifications in Recreation or education programming
- Further study in a fitness related area (Desirable)
- Current C class driver’s licence
- National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
