The Salty Fox is a small but rapidly growing online retailer of Apple Watch bands & accessories, based within a vibrant HQ in Williamstown North. We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Manager to lead and mentor our small yet close-knit warehouse team.

The Role

You will be responsible for all warehouse operations including ensuring the accurate receipt, storing and dispatch of all stock that arrives at the warehouse. This role would suit a warehouse manager or senior team member who isn't afraid to get involved with dispatch when necessary to ensure that our fast dispatch guarantee is met at all times.

We operate with a flat business structure, allowing you to work closely with our Customer Service Team, Marketing Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, and Warehouse Team, while reporting directly to the Director.

Our normal business operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, based in our HQ in Williamstown North.

Tasks & Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to)

Lead, motivate and develop our small, close knit warehouse team

Coordinate all parts of order fulfilment within the warehouse

Ensure fast dispatch times and smooth running of the warehouse team, even during peak periods

Unload and load trucks/containers safely and efficiently.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lift and other equipment (if licensed).

Measure performance and develop/monitor KPIs to maintain accountability for the warehouse team

Identify & implement areas for improvement within warehouse operational procedures

Rectifying any lost or damaged stock received by suppliers or sent to customers.

Ensure all warehouse standard operating procedures are documented.

Ensure all equipment is maintained efficiently and effectively and all necessary certifications are maintained.

Determine optimal inventory supply levels and ensure timely replenishment

Determine what additional warehouse labour resources are required to accommodate demand during peak periods

Build relationships with other teams and stakeholders both within the business and externally

Ensure compliance with all OH&S requirements

General Warehouse maintenance

Skills and Qualifications

Warehouse Management/Logistics tertiary qualification or similar

Experience with leading a small team of 5 or fewer staff

Experience with Warehouse Management systems

Forklift licence

Exposure to manual handling, ability to regularly lift up to 20kg

Great communication skills (written and verbal)

Professional attitude

Highly organised & great attention to detail

Experience with StarShipIt, iPacky, Cin7, Inventory Planner and Shopify

Data analysis and reporting skills

Proficiency in Excel

Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

Time management

Strong work ethic

Proactive and can-do attitude

First-Aid & CPR training

Australian Driver's Licence

Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application
