About the role

Our family-owned and operated textiles and accessories business is seeking to employ an Assistant Office/Warehouse Manager at our head office in Moorabbin.

What you'll be doing

Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Customer service, including addressing customer enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner

Picking and packing orders accurately

Computer data entry, including invoicing

Stock counting, planning and replenishment

Quality control

Unloading containers, including the lifting and carrying of boxes and fabric rolls up to 25 kg

What we're looking for

Reporting to the managing directors, the right candidate will exhibit the following:

Excellent work ethic

Strong attention to detail

Effective organisational, time management and problem-solving skills

Preparedness to follow direction in order to adhere to company standards

Ability to work both autonomously and as part of our small and tight-knit staff

Willingness to learn and grow

Warehouse experience desirable

Experience working in small businesses beneficial

Forklift license advantageous

Permanent Australian residency a must

Operating hours

Monday to Friday
