How will you contribute?

In this role, you will:
Own and grow a portfolio of existing clients, maximising share of wallet.
Hunt for new business across Victoria (+ potential for Tas & SA) to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
Your typical day will be visiting food processing sites, including red meat abattoirs, poultry processing sites, ready meal factories, dairy product plants, and more. You will be meeting key contacts, and spending time in production to better understand client needs and requirements.
Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue and margin growth.
Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a trusted advisor and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Maintain detailed records of account activity and provide regular reports on performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.

What do you need?
Proven success in account management and business development (5+ years preferred).
A natural hunter with the ability to grow existing accounts while winning new ones.
A self-starter mindset, with the drive to deliver results and exceed targets.
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to spot opportunities and implement smart retention and growth strategies.
Flexibility to travel across Melbourne and regional VIC as needed.
A reputation for being reliable, trustworthy, and customer focused.
