The Role

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Lead and facilitate site risk assessments.
• Review and participate in SWMS/JHA development.
• Provide expert advice and develop strategies to reduce risk.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and site interactions, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Identify and promote best practice standards and solutions.
• Lead ICAM investigations and assist with incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Act as the on-site HSE advisor, building strong relationships with subcontractors and fostering a positive safety culture.

The Person

• Cert IV or above in Occupational Health & Safety
• Proven experience and expertise as a HSE Advisor
• A thorough understanding of all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Standards
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Site-based construction experience in Australia on built form projects (Commercial, High Rise or similar)
• Use of Sign Onsite & Procore desirable, not essential

• $140,000 - $160,000 + Super
