An exciting opportunity exists for individuals based in Brisbane who are either in the early stages of their Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) career or currently working in a trade role and looking to transition into the HSE field.

I’m currently partnering with a number of reputable commercial construction companies delivering high-quality, luxury builds across Brisbane. These organisations are seeking Junior HSE Advisors to join their growing project teams.

These roles offer the opportunity to work on premium developments with supportive teams, clear pathways for progression, and a secure pipeline of ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Safety Management Plans
• Support the review and preparation of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and permits
• Conduct and document site inductions for new workers and subcontractors
• Support pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Conduct site inspections, task observations, and hazard identification activities
• Monitor and report compliance using platforms such as Hammertech and Procore
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date WHS documentation and records

About You:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or currently studying)
• Experience on commercial construction sites (either from trade background or entry-level HSE roles)
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation and safe work practices
• Practical, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
• Keen to learn, take initiative, and build a long-term career in HSE
