Sales Engineer – Perth WA Jandakot

Star Aluminium is a leading designer and manufacturer of height access equipment, producing both standard and custom solutions in aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring experience from the safety access, work platform, scaffold, or related manufacturing industries, with a strong passion for building new business while nurturing existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and service existing client accounts.

Identify, pursue, and secure new accounts across both national and international markets.

Prepare and submit activity and results reports (daily call logs, weekly work plans, monthly performance reviews).

Monitor and analyse competitor activity including pricing, product launches, delivery schedules, and marketing approaches.

Provide exceptional customer support and proactively address issues to prevent complaints.

Stay up to date with product knowledge, technical developments, and industry trends.

Contribute to overall team success by achieving aligned business goals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in a manufacturing environment

Proven track record in sales, with a highly motivated and results-driven approach.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships.

Excellent time management, organisation, and prioritisation abilities.

Capacity to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a small team.
