BDS Mechanical is seeking an experienced Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our growing team in WA. This role will play a key part in supporting our business by attracting, onboarding, and assigning new talent across our workshops and client sites. This newly created role will focus primarily on our WA branch and offers the successful applicant the chance to shape it as their own, with genuine opportunities for growth within the company.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a leading privately owned business providing mechanical, auto electrical, and welding repairs across Queensland, NT and Western Australia. With 20+ workshops and over 160 field service technicians, we are proud to support clients in mining, civil, oil & gas, transport, and local government sectors.

About the role:

As the Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for internal roles and external labour hire clients (mining, civil and transport)

Coordinate candidate onboarding including contracts, inductions, medicals, police checks, and compliance requirements

Organise travel and flight bookings for candidates and employees as required

Build strong relationships with hiring managers, site supervisors and candidates to understand workforce needs

Maintain accurate candidate and employee records

Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a recruitment role

Experience with CRM and onboarding systems

Strong organisational and administration skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience recruiting for trade/blue-collar roles in mining, civil or heavy industry highly regarded
