About the Role:
Maclean are seeking a Parts Co-ordinator to manage customer orders, ordering and purchasing stock and stock/warehouse control.
Responsibilities and Duties
Accountable for movement of all materials within the warehouse and overall appearance
Safe loading and off-loading of raw materials and finished goods from delivery vehicles manually by using forklift
Read and interpret pick list properly
Pick orders/parts and pack them according to pick list accurately
Issue required purchased and manufactured parts to sales orders for shipping as applicable
Locate and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders
Review and ensure accuracy of all orders
Ensure all parts processed by our manufacturing process are properly identified by part number and work order number
Ensure documentation accompanies workflow and is handled to completion with correct quantities
Ensure production is fully stocked with material and corresponding paperwork
Ensure all parts processed are relieved from proper bin location in proper quantity
Ensure product is put into the correct stock location
Ensure parts are properly secured to skid (strapping, shrink wrap, etc.)
Verify all material to ensure that it coincides with correct paperwork
Maintaining inventory accuracy (cycle counts) and co-ordinate annual stocktake
Weekly inspections as assigned
Maintain organised work area according to policies, procedures, safety regulations and cleanliness standards
Responsible for maintaining stock levels
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
Process orders in a timely and efficient manner
Take responsibility of orders to be dispatched and advise customers of any potential delays
Requirements:
An understanding of spare parts and the importance of delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service
Good Microsoft Office skills
Understanding of inventory management
Good written and oral communication skills
Previous experience required in areas such as parts interpreter, inventory control and workshop administration
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work unsupervised and exercise initiative
Warehouse experience essential
Current forklift license
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum High School Diploma or Certificate of Completion
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Forklift licence
