Qualifications & experience

Demonstrated scheduling or project planning experience in Defence or Government

Proficiency in Open Plan Professional is highly desirable

Proficiency in Microsoft Project is essential

Good understanding of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS)

Minimum NV1 clearance essential

Tasks & responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules as part of an Integrated Master Schedule supporting a major maritime capability program.

Develop and manage project planning artefacts, including work breakdown structures (WBS) and Product WBS data dictionaries, to ensure tasks, milestones, and dependencies are properly defined.

Support development and implementation of key project controls covering the management of project risk, assumption, issue, dependencies and opportunities.

Identify, document and validate dependencies and assumptions underpinning project planning.

Analyse schedule and project planning data to identify risks, delays, and improvement opportunities and prepare advice, reports and status updates to stakeholders.

Support Project Managers with the development and implementation of scheduling and project planning best practices, processes and standards, including delivering training and uplift to existing skillsets.

Develop briefs, reporting and provide advice to executives on project and program planning.
