The Opportunity:

What You'll Do:

* Analyze project documents, including architectural drawings, specifications, and scopes of work, to identify key requirements and potential challenges.

* Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.

* Develop detailed quantity take-offs, pricing breakdowns, and risk assessments.

* Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and constructible estimates.

* Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

* Maintain a comprehensive database of cost data and market trends.

* Contribute to the development and improvement of estimating processes and procedures.

* Present and communicate estimates clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

* Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of estimating principles and best practices.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents.

* Experience in quantity take-off, cost analysis, and pricing development.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Proficiency in estimating software (Procore).
