The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Landscape Estimator to join our management and pre-construction team based in our Bayswater office. This role is more than just estimating, you’ll play a key part in shaping our tendering process, influencing pre-construction strategy, and contributing to the ongoing success of our projects from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for landscape construction projects

Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to assess project scope

Undertake quantity take-offs to support accurate estimating

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing

Prepare and submit tender documentation and project proposals

Provide input into pre-construction planning and project methodology

Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, designers, and senior leadership to develop winning strategies

Assist project managers and site supervisors during construction, providing support with cost tracking, variations, and project queries

Maintain and improve cost databases and pricing libraries to support continuous business improvement

Skills & Experience

Previous estimating experience in landscaping, civil, or construction is essential

Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills

Ability to interpret landscape drawings and specifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel essential); comfortable working on Mac-based systems

AutoCAD experience preferred but not essential

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to influence outcomes
