Accounts Assistant

Randstad is currently seeking a motivated Accounts Assistant to possibly join a dynamic and growing team in Ormeau. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the financial operations of a successful company.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organised and has a strong attention to detail. You'll be a vital part of the finance team, providing hands-on support with a variety of financial tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconciling company accounts
• Preparing and managing payment runs
• Onboarding new suppliers
• Ensuring financial processes comply with all relevant standards
• Assisting with month-end reporting and other ad-hoc finance duties

About You

The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and have a passion for working with numbers. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar finance support role
• Proficiency with accounting software (experience with MYOB is highly regarded)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork
