The Role
This newly created Junior Accountant position is an integral part of a growing finance team. Working within a supportive and close-knit environment, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable and receivable functions and contribute to the smooth running of the business’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable and receivable function
• Take ownership of managing expense claims and ensuring accurate data entry
• Support the month-end process, including reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Get involved in a variety of ad hoc finance tasks and team projects
• Maintain accurate financial records on Xero.

Your Profile

• Prior experience in a similar role, or recently completed accounting/finance studies
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Eager to learn and develop within a supportive team environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Xero and Excel is an advantage
