Lawson Elliott Recruitment is excited to be working with a fluid start-up business leading the way in innovative investment solutions. The team is looking to expand and welcome in a confident junior Accountant to hit the ground running and join their Brisbane team to support a Senior Accountant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright degree qualified accountant who is looking for a broad hands-on role. You will receive mentoring and direction by an experience CA qualified Accountant.

The Role:

You will have broad range of responsibilities including:

Month-end support including accruals and prepayments

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Preparing and posting journal entries

Maintain monthly reconciliations for various entities/ countries

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Managing the accounts inbox & respond to queries

Ad-hoc duties as required as the business grows

About You:

Degree qualified and enrolled or started CA/ CPA

Experience working in broad roles either in commerce or chartered

Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fluid environment

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Strong interpersonal, initiative and self-drive
