Industry-respected private Developer operating successfully for over 20years, and well-known for their award winning residential and retail projects. A rare role has come up due to growth, and we are seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator to join this fantastic team. The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available Monday-Friday, for a Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator to join the Facilities team. This role will involve working across multiple residential buildings within West End, East Brisbane, South Brisbane and Kangaroo Point. To be considered for this role you will ideally come from a Facilities/Maintenance background, with an ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders.

In this role will be responsible for the upkeep and presentation of the portfolio, supporting the coordination and delivery of maintenance services as part of the FM team. Some of the key responsibilities include:-

  • Retrieve, action and then follow up facilities maintenance requests in an efficient, cost effective & timely manner
  • Manage & administer the facilities management software program ensuring all data is current and updated.
  • Ensure building compliance with relevant legislation, standards and codes
  • Ensure building is clean, free of waste and pests, presentable at all times.
  • Develop, provide and implement asset and maintenance management strategies
  • Ability to assist in the establishment of Service Level Agreements with preferred suppliers
  • Assist with resident moves and inductions including keys and access
  • Daily maintenance activities, property inspections and condition reports
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies using the designated procedures, including attending site if required
  • Ad hoc maintenance and labour tasks where required.
  • Provide a high level of maintenance support to Building managers
  • Support the facilities and caretaking teams with defects, maintenance, quoting and reporting
  • Undertake analysis of expenses for maintenance works
  • Track quotes, invoices for payment and works schedules to ensure works conducted and completed to plans & timelines
  • Coordinates and communicates on Building Compliance requirements
  • Contractor management

Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in Facilities/Maintenance (additional Trade related background ideal)
  • Customer focused, showing Initiative and having a positive approach to meet customer needs
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines with good time management
  • Contractor management experience within a commercial or residential high rise building environment
  • Excellent customer service and service delivery skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in multiple IT solutions
  • Have the ability to work autonomously
  • Reporting and analytic skills.
