At Height 4 Hire, we are proudly Queensland’s largest privately owned and operated supplier of access hire equipment. With Branches in Richlands and Northgate (Brisbane), Kuluin (Sunshine Coast), Townsville and Cairns we specialise in Boom, Scissor Lift and Forklift hire. To add to the service of Height 4 Hire, we utilise our own fleet of tilt tray trucks to deliver and collect our equipment.

We are currently seeking experienced and hardworking Tilt Tray Drivers to join our North and South Brisbane based teams (Northgate & Richlands) and deliver professional and reliable service for our customers. The nature of the hire industry requires people who can adapt quickly, think on their feet and help solve daily logistical challenges.

These positions report to our Transport Manager and will operate primarily in the Brisbane and SEQ areas. Tilt Tray and Access Hire Industry and experience is highly desirable but not essential.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate, load, restrain, deliver and pick-up booms, scissor lifts and other access equipment using one of our fleet of tilt tray trucks.

Work safely within company and statutory Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures, including various site safety requirements.

Comply with all applicable Road Transport and other relevant Laws.

Maintain an excellent standard of personal and vehicle presentation.

Navigate efficiently through Brisbane Metro, Sunshine Coast and Southeast QLD areas.

Perform other tasks within your training and skill set outside of truck driving.

Work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Light yard work including washing, cleaning and moving equipment from time to time.

Other duties as required to foster a team environment.

Skills and experience

Current and valid heavy vehicle drivers’ licence - MR or above.

Current Traffic History Record to be provided.

Good verbal communication skills (with fellow staff and customers).

Experience operating various types of access equipment in a safe and efficient manner is desirable (training and licencing will be provided).

A knowledge of Southeast Qld Road network and suburbs.

Be punctual, reliable and flexible with start and finish times.

Mechanical aptitude an advantage.

Must have ability to work unsupervised at times.

Physically fit as from time to time some heavy manual handling may be required.
