Junior Coordinator – Cathedral Campus

Clarence Valley Anglican School is seeking an inspiring and committed Junior Coordinator to join our Cathedral Campus. Reporting directly to the Deputy Principal, this leadership role is responsible for overseeing the pastoral and academic care of students, supporting staff, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the campus.

As Junior Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping learning and wellbeing outcomes, supporting colleagues, and building upon the traditions of the School as we develop young people to be world ready.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support teaching and learning across KLAs, driving innovation and the use of ICT to enhance student outcomes.

Oversee assessment, reporting, and national testing (e.g., NAPLAN), ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.

Prioritise student wellbeing and provide leadership in behaviour management and pastoral care.

Coordinate year-level events and camps, ensuring meaningful and safe experiences for students.

Manage resources, budgets, and daily campus operations in collaboration with the Deputy Principal.

Model exemplary teaching practice, effective classroom management, and professional growth.

Actively participate in the WH&S Committee and ensure workplace health and safety is embedded in daily practice.

About You

You are a passionate and dynamic educator with strong leadership qualities, ready to contribute to a collaborative school community. You will have:

Qualifications to teach in the Primary School.

Demonstrated leadership in contemporary pedagogy and innovation in teaching and learning.

Strong ICT knowledge, including Google Suite, Google Classroom, TASS, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

A supportive approach to the ethos of independent Anglican education.

Current Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
