DESIGN COORDINATOR

$120-$130K + Super

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Design / Project coordinator to join a leading tier 2 commercial building contractor. In this position you will play an fundamental role supporting the Design and Project Managers with the coordination of information and the management of design process to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Project delivery focused position

Assist in coordinating the design process, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.

Document control management and organisation of documents using Aconex

Ensuring DA conditions are fulfilled to achieve CC certification

Maintain up-to-date records of design progress, changes, and approvals.

Attending client & consultant meetings and take minutes

Subcontractor agreements

Stakeholder management

Support the preparation of project reports and design documentation

About You:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Design, or a related field.

Strong administration and document control experience.

A desire to progress in design management - delivery focused position.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
